An energy reading and a very detailed interpretation of the reading were presented to me by Janet Nestor, holistic healer and author of Pathways to Wholeness.

Janet is a supporter of Just a Cloud Away, Inc. Journal offering articles not typically accepted by mainstream society. If you are willing to open your mind to the possibilities, please do consider speaking with her regarding your losses.

Because my son died at birth, any memorabilia, pictures, descriptions are very much welcomed. A few photographs were taken of him at birth, clipping of hair, ashes, foot and hand prints and it just isn’t enough for a mother. Below is an energy reading where Janet connected with my little angel on August 3rd, 2010.

Tanner, son of Diana Gardner-Williams

Tanner has a whole lot to say. His senses are all operational from the spirit realm. His is connected to spirit, his listening ears are wide open for communication. He has a lot to say about a lot of things.

The blue orb at the third eye…inner eye. He is like a magnet. He intuits everything and is able to process through the center better than any others. His vision is full spectrum vision. He sees everything on all at once….many levels of seeing and understanding and had the ability to communicate what he sees and understands.

Colors:

Peach-he is social. Likes to be part of the mix. Also patient and kind and you can feel his love and compassion without hardly trying. He is shadowy in structure, but when he communicates you can hear and communicate with him.

Light pink/lavender-He is vibrant. He has a lot to say/intuit/process. He likes where he lives and is exactly where he is supposed to be. This is his world. He is comfortable within his world. He knows his way around.

The light blue in his energy field-it is his level of permanence. He is ever-present in your life, will remain ever-present in your family life as long as this family exists. He is part of the family and enjoys his interactions. He has a sense of humor. He can pop in and out and does.

His spiritual body seems to be a thought form. He is light and airy. He has great wisdom, which he will share if you listen to what he has to say. It is not infant wisdom, but wisdom of spirit that is collective in nature. He really does not seem to be identified with his human body at all. He is identified with his spiritual being and that life.

Notice his eyes and the fact that they appear alert. They are alert. The line through his eyes is a boundary of sorts. Reflects his deep insights. He will not interfere in what is not his to see and hear. He stays back unless invited. He is not hesitant. But he is respectful of privacy and of his role. As a child one might have called him timid, but not silent. Shy, but not withdrawn. Funny, but not a clown and center of attention.

The only thing he misses is the ability to cuddle. He would have loved touch and still likes touch although it is not the same. He will snuggle in close to you if he can…almost feel like a part of you. You might notice when he is around because he likes to be so close. He would loved to be noticed in those moments, but he does not seek to be noticed.

He is both child energy and very wise energy all rolled up into one spiritual being. His identity in this life is one of infant child. His spirit identity is ages old. A lovely mix of innocence and aged wisdom.

I cannot thank you enough Janet. These words are precious to me and gives my being another purpose and understanding of my child. This is tangible and will be cherished upon my alter for him.

Question from Theresa of Oak Ridge- “Janet, what exactly is an energy reading?”

Thank you for your question Theresa, an energy reading is an intuitive interpretation of an individual’s energy field.  The energy field consists of the aura, the energy that surrounds our body, the chakra system and the meridian system.  Chakra understanding originated in the country of India and Meridian understanding originated in Asia.

All of our life experiences are stored within our energy field and everything we do, say, think, feel and experience impacts our field.  Our relationships with our life partner, our children, friends and other family members are recorded in our energy.  Our medical issues, physical and emotional, begin somewhere within our energy field, usually in our aura. When the problem shows up in our chakras or in our meridian system we are feeling some kind of symptoms, either physically or emotionally.

We are the healthiest when our energy field is flowing and flexible.  When it becomes stagnant, we develop an uneven pattern of energy within our physical body.  This uneven pattern of energy or energetic imbalances causes us physical, emotional or spiritual distress. A person giving an energy reading is able to pick up on these imbalances and discuss them with the person seeking the reading.

Reiki, Healing Touch and other energy healing modalities, including Energy Psychology, help us balance out our energy field.  The balance is what causes us to feel physical relief, heal from illness and leave a session feeling positive change. I hope this helps… Janet Nestor

The Senior Health Fair at the Roy B Culler Senior Center in High Point last week, provided many local resources offering products and services to the elderly population.

In-home non medical care companies are in great demand because of the baby boomer population. Options for Senior America  was one company who stood out from the rest by providing live in care, if desired of the client. Peace of mind, reliability and flexibility are very important to the community relations director, Evelyn Yalung. Options for Senior America has assisted Angela Howard in caring for her husband with Alzheimer’s.

Angela’s company Take Shape for Life was also in attendance because of the increased number of individuals with obesity, leading to several preventable medical conditions. Angela herself has lost 210 pounds on the program and is offering to cook a free meal in your home for the month of November. Contact Angela today at [thefatfighter@gmail.com].

Melody Anderson of Chadwick Insurance Group was providing seniors with answers to their Medicare Reform Questions. If you have questions, please contact Melody at melodyanderson62@gmail.com.

Unique products like the automatic pill dispenser with lock and auditory direction forseniors, notifying them it is time to take their pills.

This product and many more were offered by Independence Option.

Several Senior Living Facilities were also present with impressive facilities, some even allow pets.

Brookdale Senoir Living, MORNINGVIEW of GREENSBORO, Loyalton of Greensboro and Holiday Retirement  including Creekside Terrace and The Stratford.

Hospice of the Piedmont offered many services.

Not everything offered was healthy, but sure was delicious.

We had an informational workshop at Terragen Nurseries one Saturday morning. Stephie brought some of her birds. They were on special harnesses  allowing for outdoor walks.

Melanie of Chadwick Insurance Group explained information regarding lower insurance premiums.

Janet Nestor took us on a meditative walk around the water gardens and greenhouse. She also gave away a copy of her new book “Pathways to Wholeness”. How is your emotional health?

A quick breathing technique was also shared.

I talked about the importance of plants in the healing realm. This is truly a learning experience for me as well.  Even weeds in our own gardens can be dried and consumed as tea to prevent such conditions as:

  • Diabetes
  • Cancer
  • Anxiety
  • Alzheimer’s

We hope to have more of these workshops in the future.

Please contact me at Diana (@) justacloudaway.com for workshop alerts.

A new, free monthly local paper titled, Just a Cloud Away, Inc. ™ Journal will report on hope. The journal provides an outlet for local bereaved families to share stories of love, loss, healing and unique memorials.

The loss of a loved one, pregnancy or pet is devastating and society as a whole varies greatly on what is acceptable in the mourning process. For many people, loss is a life altering event and may affect our habits, motivation, personal interaction, decision making and other factors. Personal grieving style is a direct reflection of family background, culture, age, and gender. Noting these differences may help the community understand that what is good for one person may not be for another. The journal will provide a platform enabling families to share their personal stories of hope with interactive discussion located at https://justacloud.wordpress.com.

Share your story and help our community, contact Diana at diana@justacloudaway.com. We realize there is no “1” solution for individual pain.

Articles will include local resources for coping mechanisms and support. These situations could be prior, during or after the loss whether miscarriage, euthanasia, AIDS, marriage, cancer or a tragic event. The pain is real and our community can increase awareness as to what actions or words would offer the comfort intended.

The journal has over 300 locations within Greensboro and the surrounding towns including; pet related facilities, coffee shops, salons, florists, churches, schools, medical facilities and funeral homes. It is apolitical and non-religious; however, if during an interview an individual experienced hope and peace through religion, so will be published. Under the Starlight section there will be lists of the monthly awareness causes and special days to remember, such as 9/11.  Gemstones and flowers are also listed for bereaved families suffering early pregnancy loss due to the lack of tangible keepsakes and also aiding with the selection of meaningful sympathy gifts.

Just a Cloud Away, Inc. ™ Journal will host future events for adults, children and pets centering on proactive living encompassing; financial, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.  Our second event will provide the community with ideas on how to create Love Memorials™. These thoughtful keepsakes can be handmade or created by another using various mediums such as; paper, stone, metal, gemstones or gardens.

“By spending only 10 minutes reading the articles may educate our community on various subjects before a crisis. Sending a card and food is wonderful, but there is more we can do to comfort. There is no second chance to help our family members or friends in the moment,” said Diana. Emotions are unstable during critical times, where people’s words may be construed as inappropriate. It is typical for feelings to be hurt and actions misunderstood, increasing stress during difficult times.

The journal was founded by Diana Gardner-Williams whose first son Tanner was stillborn in 2003. His stillbirth and the events that followed, led her to create memorials, gardens, and writings about her personal healing and loss found at, www.shivere.wordpress.com and www.justacloudaway.com.

Advertisers within the journal make this information available and they are the pioneers for taking the first step alongside Just a Cloud Away, Inc. ™ Journal. Please support the journal by supporting these businesses. More information regarding advertisers’ found at www.justacloud.wordpress.com.

DEATH-the mere mention of this word elicits numerous emotional responses from those who hear it or see it in print.  To some; it means “relief’ from a long and painful ordeal; to others; a tragic ending as a young parent whose life suddenly ends without warning; to still others, questions of “why me or why them”.

No matter what the emotional response, there are certain realities to be dealt with when someone dies.  After the initial items of funeral arrangements, paying of immediate bills and obtaining information about ones financial affairs, there is what happens to one’s property; house, car, retirement accounts (if any), household goods, etc.

Hopefully, the deceased preplanned by drafting a will to set forth their desire as to who will handle the administration of the estate and belongings.  Also, if minor children are left behind, the deceased left written instructions as to the Guardian of said children and what was to be done with their assets.

Unfortunately and sadly, this is not always the case.  Statistically, more than 60% of those in the United States die without a will and/or any directive for the distribution of estates.  The issue of a will is something we “put off” or tell ourselves that we will “get around to it” at a later date.  Since no one is guaranteed to live to a certain age, we take chances with distribution of assets and the security of those loved ones left behind.

The problems that may result from not having a will are far too numerous for this article.  Most simple wills cost less than $250.00. However, most problems that occur cost several thousand to rectify. We need to ask ourselves which is the smarter course of action and if you answered, “To make a will”, then you are not only smart but correct.

I urge each individual who does not have a will or who knows of a loved one without a will to make an appointment with an attorney to discuss the pros and cons of your wishes.  It is one of the best decisions that you will make in your life for you and your loved ones.  If you do have a will, update it every 3 to 5 years. Your circumstances have probably changed during this time period.

by Larry Pearman- Attorney at Law

Thank you Larry for providing this educational and enlightening article. Let’s check my will soon.

Peace

Diana
